What age are the puppies ready to go home?

Do I need to have property to have a Great Pyrenees?

While these dogs are bred to guard livestock on large properties, with proper exercise they can thrive in pretty much any environment. We’ve had puppies go home to both ranches with livestock and neighborhoods in the city. Just make sure to do your research on this breed and their requirements before considering adding a Great Pyrenees to your family!

What do your puppies eat?

Our Great Pyrenees puppies eat a mixed diet of high quality kibble (Sierra Advantage) and a pre-made raw mix (from Viva Raw and Oma’s Pride) as well as raw goat milk, eggs, NuVet supplements (NuJoint Plus and NuVet Plus) and Real Dog Box treats. While we try to feed our dogs a completely natural, raw, whole-food diet, feeding 100% raw can get expensive feeding several 100 lb dogs. If you can, we ask that you feed a completely raw diet and only natural whole food treats. Combining a complete raw blend with a homemade raw diet can be a great way to save money while feeding 100% raw!

How often do Great Pyrenees need to be groomed?

We recommend getting your pyrenees professionally groomed every 6 months. Baths every 6 weeks along with weekly brushing will hep maintain their coat in between grooming days.
